My clients often find just by talking about what is going on for them, it helps and they feel relieved, knowing it's okay to feel these things that it can be and managed. That someone is willing to listen and understands is a feeling they have been looking for and it can feel like ' a load has been lifted' or 'lighter.'
Counselling can also help you learn new skills for building effective, better relationships as well as develop solutions to issues that have previously overwhelmed or negatively affected you.
I work in a way that benefits the client, so nothing is planned it is what you bring on the day that we work with. Life happens things change so knowing you can bring something else up often helps
people.
I have no boxes to tick of targets to meet it us all about the client nothing more.
By going through this process with me, you will gain valuable insights into your thoughts and make sense of them. Behaviours can be identified and you will gain self-awareness and clarity that in turn gives you a greater understanding of why you are feeling, thinking and doing what you do.

You will be able to recognise and alter any irrational beliefs and change your perspective. Learning new coping skills will empower you to take steps forward to make a positive change.
So you change the cycle and have a more positive outcome.
